| Born 1939 in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where I attended the local schools, and graduated in economics and business administration from the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG). Retired first lieutenant, quarter master, Swiss army. Four grown children from first marriage: Manuel Ladner, Gossau ZH; Dr. Thomas Ladner, Horgen ZH, Lisa Ladner, San Juan and Yabucoa, Puerto Rico; Miriam Ladner, Corpus Christi, Texas. Second marriage in 2005 to Marguerite Ladner-Lerch (previously Rüfenacht-Lerch). |
I am an active supporter of IVCG and Business Professionals Network, Bern (a charitable foundation for job creation in emerging countries), and several other similar charities. Private activities include arts, fitness, hiking and travelling. |
